To ensure the success of our services, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, complete, and timely information and documentation required for your services.

  • Respond promptly to our requests for additional information or clarification.

  • Review and approve any prepared documents, including tax returns, before submission.

  • Pay for services as agreed in the engagement letter or invoice.

Failure to provide accurate or timely information may result in delays, errors, or penalties for which Carolinas Wise LLC is not liable.

 

4. Payment Terms

  • Payment for services is due as outlined in your engagement agreement or invoice.

  • Late payments may incur additional charges or result in suspension of services.

  • No refunds will be provided once services have commenced.

 

5. Use of Verifyle Portal

We use the Verifyle Portal, a secure, encrypted platform, for the exchange of sensitive documents and communications. By using the portal, you agree to its terms of use, which are available upon accessing the platform. Carolinas Wise LLC is not responsible for third-party breaches or errors within the Verifyle system.

 

6. Confidentiality and Privacy

We are committed to maintaining the confidentiality of your personal and financial information. All information shared with us is protected by applicable privacy laws and our Privacy Policy.

 

7. IRS Circular 230 Compliance

Any tax advice provided by Carolinas Wise LLC is intended to comply with IRS Circular 230. It is not intended to be used for the purpose of avoiding penalties under U.S. federal tax law. You are encouraged to seek advice specific to your situation.

 

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • Carolinas Wise LLC is not responsible for penalties, interest, or damages resulting from errors or omissions in information you provide.

  • We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services or website.

  • Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

You may terminate our services by providing written notice, subject to the terms of your engagement agreement.

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of Carolinas Wise LLC and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

 

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of South Carolina, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Spartanburg County.
